About Me

Hi there!

I’m Madelyn (she/her), a game and software developer in my third year at the University of Chicago, where I’m majoring in Media Arts & Design and Computer Science. My passion for creating games and experiences began when I first used Scratch at the age of 8, shortly followed by a demo of a mythology-themed 2D fighter called "Mythological Mayhem." Now, as a college student, my childhood fascination has been met with a much greater depth and expertise of knowledge, allowing me to transform my ideas into reality more than ever before.

The trait with the most influence on my game development (and life) philosophy is without a doubt curiosity. With everything I do, I seek to learn something new, and I firmly believe that imaginative, unbounded creativity is the key to creating immersive, engaging, and impactful experiences. By blending my curiosity with pillars of game design, I hope to create games that inspire a sense of wonder and fascination in anyone who plays them.

In my free time, you’ll likely find me attending concerts, swimming, or trying to expand my list of 100+ games I’ve collected every Steam achievement in.
